September 2021: Favorite Light Fixtures

If you are like many other homeowners – or is it just us?! – then you are always glancing through magazines and websites for fresh ideas for your home. From paint colors to new furniture, we love perusing the pages of  Architectural Digest or Elle Decor for room inspo.

Right now, we are obsessed with light fixtures and have found our top 5 for September 2021!

#1: Sazerac Stitches

There isn’t much that I don’t love about locally owned Sazerac Stitches. They have tons of FUN lighting pieces, from sconces to pendants to chandeliers. Our favorite right now, though, is the Monochromatic Arcenciel Chandelier.

Offered in 29 colors, this chandelier can work with any color palette! It’s got that mid-century modern feel but would look good in a variety of spaces!

#2: Regina Andrew Fringe Chandelier

Detroit-based Regina Andrew has a very eclectic lighting design style. The cabaret fringe chandelier has us wanting to buy a new house to make the piece fit into our space!

Modern brass accents and 3 layers of fringe make this a showstopping piece in your home!

#3: Shades of Light Lotus Flower

Based out of Richmond, Virginia, Shades of Light carries everything one can imagine for lighting. They do not lack creativity and design!

Ceiling lights can tend to be basic and boring. That is until Shades of Light came up with the Lotus Flower ceiling light! It’s modern, fresh, and truly unexpected. It comes in six different colors, though the coral and black are our favs!

#4: AllModern Boone 6 Cluster Chandelier

AllModern is one of THE websites to hit when looking for lighting ideas. They are everything modern, from Scandanavian to farmhouse. They pride themselves on lower prices and fast shipping so you can get what you want ASAP.

Their Boone 6 Cluster Chandelier has caught out eye because it’s not the same thing we see everywhere else. It’s a new take on the cluster of large Edison lightbulb pieces that have been trendy the past couple of years. Personally, we would use this in an ultra-modern dining space!

#5: Anthrolopolgie Bunglaow Pendant

The Anthropologie Bungalow Pendant is a delight for many spaces. From boho-chic, mid-century modern, and a sophisticated look – it can check many boxes depending on the rest of your aesthetic!

It’s only 18.5″ tall, so this piece could easily be placed over your kitchen bar. Pair it with some black walnut wood countertops from NOLA Boards, and I can visualize and feel this whole look!

When it comes to choosing new lighting for your home, remember that everything will go out of style at some point in time. All that matters, though, is if you love it!
