The Color Story: Phthalo Green

Phthalo green is a color you likely already knew – but, maybe, didn’t know the name. It’s a super concentrated dark bluish-green color that is regal and rich. Phthalo green was created in 1927 and is known for its high tinting strength as well.

Because this color is so deep and will consume a room, we love it for accents unless you’re ready to paint your entire dining room this color! (Which we wholeheartedly support!)
