  • Where: M.S. Rau, 622 Royal
  • Time: 9:00am-5:00pm

The exhibition, also free and open to the public, will highlight works by the artist who invented “reverspective,” or reverse perspective.

Wednesday, April 5th

  • What: Beams and Brews visits 1126 Second St
  • Where: 1126 Second St
  • Time: 5:30pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The two-story Italianate home was constructed in 1894 for local pharmacist and doctor, Oscar Czarnowski, and it served as his home office, where he saw patients, as well as the Czarnowski family’s residence. When Czarnowski died (and was noted as the oldest working physician in New Orleans at the time), the home was turned into an apartment building. After sustaining water damage during Hurricane Ida, the building underwent mold remediation, and subsequently, the full renovation began. The renovation also includes the rear dependency, which was likely built at the same time as the main house and converted into a two-story structure in the early 1900s. Free for PRC members; $10 for non-members
