  • Time: 9:30-10:30am
  • Info/Lagniappe: Reservations recommended; class size is limited. Participants must bring their own yoga mat. All-day admission to the gardens is included; stay and stroll after class!

  • What: 8th Annual Kid Market 
  • Where: 710 Clouet 
  • Time: 2:00-5:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Anyone under the age of 18 can sell or barter old toys, crafts, original artwork, writing, even food or drink. Kids should make their own signage, set their own prices, manage their own banks, etc. (Of course adults are encouraged to purchase, they just can’t sell.) Parents will provide their kids’ tables, booths or blankets to display their goods.

  • What: Bywater Bakery’s 7th Annual King Cake Kick Off
  • Where: Bywater Bakery, 3624 Dauphine

Saturday, January 7th

  • What: Krewe des Fleurs 2023 Season Debut 
  • Where: Louis Armstrong Park, 901 N Rampart
  • Time: 4:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The 2023 season will feature a fresh take on an enchanting flower beloved to Louisiana. Over the last several months, the Fleurs have been hard at work building and decorating their flower costumes from scratch, and each flower is as unique and spectacular as its maker. Members of the public are invited to the gates of Armstrong Park at 4 p.m. to view the magical moving garden. The krewe will then take a stroll through the French Quarter.
