  • What: Beams & Brews visits Algiers Point
  • Where: 705 Pelican Ave
  • Time: 5:30-7:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Described as the most elaborate example of Greek Revival architecture in Algiers Point, the home was built around the mid-19th century for prominent local businessman Francois Vallette and was later occupied by undertaker and councilman John A. Barrett. Beams and Brews offers a chance to view the property inside and out, hear from the owners and general contractor, and enjoy free drinks.

Friday, June 24th

  • What: The Rolling Elvi Present the New Orleans Premier of Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis
  • Where: Prytania Theater, 5339 Prytania 
  • Time: 6:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Please join the Rolling Elvi as they present a screening of Baz Luhrmann’s new film “Elvis” at the Prytania Theatre’s Uptown location. Watch the Rolling Elvi arrive in costume and walk the red carpet. Watch the movie with them and then follow the Elvi to their afterparty!

Saturday, June 25th

  • What: PRIDE Fest!
  • Where: Zony Mash, 3940 Thalia St
  • Time: 3:00-9:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: With music on two stages by a slate of all LGBTQ-fronted bands, free HIV testing, food trucks, and an art market with local creators, the event will showcase some of the City’s most talented creative professionals all while celebrating and supporting the local LGBTQ+ community.

  • What: Absolut Pride Sip and Dip
  • Where: Windsor Court, 300 Gravier
  • Time: 12:00-3:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Soak up the sun while indulging in Absolut cocktails. Ticket includes three (3) cocktails and light bites. A cash bar will be available to purchase alternate beverages. Additional food from The Windsor Court’s poolside menu will be available to purchase.
