- Info/Lagniappe: Described as the most elaborate example of Greek Revival architecture in Algiers Point, the home was built around the mid-19th century for prominent local businessman Francois Vallette and was later occupied by undertaker and councilman John A. Barrett. Beams and Brews offers a chance to view the property inside and out, hear from the owners and general contractor, and enjoy free drinks.
