Friday, July 1st

  • What: 3rd Annual Trap Yoga & Mimosas 
  • Where: JW Marriott, 614 Canal
  • Time: 10:00am
  • Info/Lagniappe: Trap Yoga is as simple as it sounds. Vinyasa or Flow style yoga but replace the calm Himalayan chants with Migos, 2Chainz, New Orleans Bounce and other twerk-inducing music. After the flow, we skip the protein shakes and instead, refuel with Mimosas… There is Vitamin C in there somewhere… The flow will be led by a yoga instructor from Jacksonville, Florida- Alnisa Turner, A.K.A I Am The Yoga Woman. Alnisa is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher, Trainer.  She will take yall through a fun, challenging, all-levels flow that also requires an explicit language.

  • What: New Orleans Street Art & Mural Walk
  • Where: 2718 Saint Claude 
  • Time: 7:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: We’ll explore the largest concentration of street art, murals, and graffiti in New Orleans, painted by world-famous artists like Banksy, Rebeka Skela, Crude Things, Jeremy Novy, and Laurel True, as well as local artists such as Leluna, Swan, Henry Lipkis, and Jay McKay. By the end of the walk, you’ll know more about our public art than most locals.
