  • Where: The Sazerac House, 101 Magazine, New Orleans 70130
  • Time: 4 pm – 5 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Hosted by Drinks Historian Elizabeth Pearce and Sazerac House cocktail experts. $30 per person. All guests must be 21 to participate. Approximately 60 minutes.

Join us at Zony Mash on November 17th for a celebration of all things Jewish with the release of our seasonal Milk Chocolate Gelt Imperial Stout, LIT AF. We’ll also be celebrating the upcoming Hanukkah with a free concert by the New Orleans Klezmer Allstars and food provided by Latke Daddy. So bring your dreidel and we’ll provide the rest.

Thursday, Nov 18th

  • What: Closing Celebration! Mystery in Motion: African American Masking and Spirituality in Mardi Gras
  • Where: The Presbytere, 751 Chartres, New Orleans 70116
  • Time: 6 pm – 8 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Mystery in Motion explores how Black masking Indians, skeleton gangs, Baby Dolls, and the traditional parade krewes Oshun and Nefertiti incorporate spiritual themes from a variety of sources to create profound Mardi Gras masks, costumes, and rituals, grounded in a shared experience. It is on display at the Presbytère through November 28, 2021. Attendees will explore the exhibition, hear closing remarks from co-curators Kim Vaz-Deville and Ron Bechet, and mark the celebration with blessings from Nana Sula Spirit, Medicine Queen of the Spirit of Fi Yi Yi, and the Mandingo Warriors and Priestess of Mami Wata at the Temple of Light–Ile’ de Coin-Coin, and Peteh Muhammad Haroon, Trail Chief of Golden Feather Hunters.

  • Where: St. Anna’s Episcopal Church, 1313 Esplanade, New Orleans 70116
  • Time: 7 pm – 9 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Join the Electric Yat Quartet & pianist Andre Bohren for an evening of music by the Beatles & Queen in an intimate setting, beautiful surroundings, and amazing acoustics inside Historic St. Anna’s Episcopal Church. Tickets are $25 and there is a cash bar.

Must be 21+ and show proof of COVID vaccination (or negative test within 72 hours of entry) to attend. Tickets are $40 general admission, $60 VIP.
