  • What: Free Public Concert No. 4 – Mark Dover, David Fung, and the Lott Quartet
  • Where: UNO Performing Arts Center, 2000 Lakeshore Dr
  • Time: 7:30pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Internationally acclaimed CCCMF favorites clarinetist Mark Dover and pianist David Fung join forces with the Lott Quartet (Ensemble-in-Residence at the UNO School of the Arts) and other local musicians for an all-Mozart program in the wonderfully intimate chamber acoustic of the UNO Performing Arts Center. CCCMF Artistic Director Luke Fleming gives an informal pre-concert talk and Q&A at 7 PM.

  • Info/Lagniappe: This is a curated dining experience/fundraising event featuring ingredients sourced directly from Amazonian indigenous communities, as well as fresh local produce, seafood and more. All meals are intrinsically gluten-free. Vegan options are available!

  • What: Kid’s Table Cooking Series-Scary Delicious! Halloween Treats
  • Where: Acorn, 15 Henry Thomas Dr
  • Time: 5:00-6:00pm 
  • Info/Lagniappe: Your little goblins will create an assortment of Halloween treats to sample or take home to enjoy. We have some new tricks (and treats) up our sleeves! The class ends with a Halloween themed dinner and beverage. We encourage costumes, but BEWARE, more elaborate costumes may get a little messy.

Saturday, October 15th

  • What: Boo Carre Halloween Haunt
  • Where: French Market
  • Time: 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The free one-day kid-centric event encourages costumes for all ages and will feature live music, children’s activities, a spooktacular Spooky Second Line, and trick-or-treating. Children wearing a costume are eligible to receive a free Boo Carre tote bag for trick-or-treating in the French Market District. One bag per child, while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public.
