Celebrities love coming to New Orleans because we tend not to care that they are famous. We have enough other excitement going on that we aren’t concerned with their status. Due to our laissez-faire attitude, many will grab hold of your real estate for a second home or a full-time adventure.
However, that doesn’t stop us from being nosy! So, here are the celebs that we know live in New Orleans. (I will not post addresses as y’all need to leave these people be!)
#1: Jennifer Coolidge
Yes, Stifler’s mom (and White Lotus treasure) calls New Orleans home these days. While she may not be sleeping every night in her Lower Garden District home – she’s infamous for her Halloween party she hosts every year!
Parker Posey (YES! TWO WHITE LOTUS STARS!) is her neighbor, as well!

#2: Sandra Bullock
Sandy’s home is in the chic Garden District of New Orleans. It’s close to the world-famous Commander’s Palace and Lafayette Cemetery Number One. This neighborhood is by far one of the most expensive, which is why tourists crawl around all day there with tour guides.
Beyoncé owns a property in this neighborhood, too. However, it doesn’t appear that anyone ever lives there.

#3: Shia LaBeouf
While Shia is one of New Orleans’ more recent transplants, he’s really made a splash here. He’s already been taken to jail by New Orleans finest police officers for battery charges. Not sure how long he will remain in the city, but he loved it enough to buy a house in the West Riverside neighborhood. You may spot him around town in a local dive bar.

#4: Wendell Pierce
Wendell is a life-long New Orleanian and has given back a lot ot the community. He is a full-time resident of the city and someone we are all proud to have repping us. He famously rebuilt his parents’ home in Pontchartrain Park and still calls this neighborhood his own. (So we have been told!)

#5: Linda Hamilton
Linda has been quietly living in the Algiers Point neighborhood for quite some time. She loves her neighbors and can be found walking around all the time! The Terminator star moved here around 2015 and has said the universe rewarded her by moving here. We agree, Linda!

If you’re visiting New Orleans and you run across a celeb, we are begging you, please just leave them alone. It’s not our style to gush over them. They should be gushing over our amazing instead!
