The Lower Garden District wasn’t always one of the hippest neighborhoods in New Orleans. These days, people flock to this walkable area in droves. LGD condos are the perfect purchase in this dense community.
With new restaurants and bars, old-school New Orleans architecture, and a central location to get to Uptown or Downtown – why wouldn’t you want to live in the LGD?
To purchase a single-family home in the Lower Garden District, you would need to spend between $600k and $1 Million.
Since this price range is not ideal for everyone, buying a condo in the Lower Garden is the perfect alternative. If condo fees scare you, let your top New Orleans real estate agent be the first to tell you this: condo fees (typically) cover the exterior insurance, flood insurance, and building maintenance. You may find that they also cover your water bill, pest control, and the internet.
When you think of condo buildings, not all of them are high-rises in the sky. Many of them are hundred-year-old homes that have been converted into condo buildings. You get all the charm but not all the upkeep.
