Join the trio on their journey through America’s “Noble Experiment” told in a way you have never heard before: in song! Discover the lore and legend of boozy personalities and Prohibition-era cocktails while learning how New Orleans remained the “wettest city in America.” Speakeasy surprises await as we toast to Repeal Day and the continuation of cocktail culture!

  • What: Home Alone: Film with Live Orchestra
  • Where: The Mahalia Jackson Theater, 1419 Basin

  • Info/Lagniappe: Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this beloved holiday favorite features renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Since its debut in 2013, Home Alone in Concert has become a seasonal favorite with orchestras and audiences around the world!

  • What: PRC’s 47th Annual Holiday Home Tour presented by McEnery Residential
  • Where: Tour Headquarters: The Rink Shopping Center, 2727 Prytania St.
  • Time: 10:00am-4:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Tour the interiors and grounds of six stunning private homes and one bonus property all dressed up for the holidays in the historic Garden District. Festivities also include live musical performances, a festive boutique, book signings, design talks and more! This beloved event returns to its pre-pandemic format!

  • What: Latkes with a Twist
  • Where: Press Street Station, 5 Homer Plessy Way

  • Info/Lagniappe: Dan Stein, owner of Stein’s Deli and Dan Esses, chef at Rimon Tulane Hillel will be serving up sensational latkes.  The evening will also feature live music by the Joe Gelini Trio, complimentary drink specials and a silent auction. Tickets are $36 but $40 at the door.
