  • Info/Lagniappe: During the lively auction, guests will bid on table reservations in Galatoire’s historic main dining room for lunch on Friday, December 22. 100% of the proceeds from the Christmas table auction will benefit Galatoire Foundation and 10 other local non-profits, including two table partners and eight micro grant recipients.

  • Where: Spanish Plaza, 2 Canal
  • Time: 5:30-7:30pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Riverwalk Outlets is hosting this free event featuring live traditional Jewish music, kosher cuisine, latkes, Chanukah gelt (chocolate candy), dreidels, crafts and more for the whole family.

Friday, December 8th

  • What: Meowy Catmas 2023
  • Where: Allways Lounge & Cabaret, 2240 St Claude
  • Time: 7:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Celebrate Christmas (or Catmas) with us by watching cats jump through wreaths, roll an ornament, push a sleigh, and performing an array of other seasonal tricks. Real rescued house cats that delight and amaze audiences of all ages. There will also be a special appearance by The Rock Cats (the only cat band in the entire WORLD!) playing seasonal holiday selections such as “A Cat in a Manger,” “Catnip Roasting on an Open Fire,” and “God Rest Ye Merry Kittens” (songs might not be performed as described).

  • Where: Convention Center, 1126 Convention Center Blvd 
  • Time: 6:00-10:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The LUNA Ball is Arts New Orleans’ fundraising event that helps light the way for our placemaking programs throughout the year. Featuring light-up couture by local fashion designers, and a one-of-a-kind fashion show, the LUNA Ball is a night you don’t want to miss. Guests are encouraged to “Get Lit” in light-up attire and enjoy delicious cocktails and cuisine.

Sunday, December 10th

  • What: Luna Fête X
  • Where: Convention Center Pedestrian Park, 900 Convention Center Blvd
  • Time: 6:00-10:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Created as a free community event, LUNA Fête combines light, art, and technology into a multi-day festival that has grown to include 7.5 acres of Light-based artworks spread across the Convention Center Pedestrian Park and Mississippi River Heritage Park. The event also includes live music, a nightly arts market, delicious food, drinks, and other glowing features to enjoy each night.
