  • What: Useful Space: Opening Reception 
  • Where: Clay Center of New Orleans, 1001 S. Broad Unit 116

  • Info/Lagniappe: “Useful Space” is a new exhibition of handmade functional studio pottery and will showcase all manner of handmade functional ceramic vessels, such as cups, mugs, tea bowls, teapots, bowls, plates, platters, jars, boxes, trays, vases, bottles, and serving pieces.

  • What: Potted Herb Garden Workshop 
  • Where: Longue Vue Gardens, 7 Bamboo Road 
  • Time: 1:00-2:30pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Plant your own potted garden with beautiful seasonal herbs, and plan your Spring plantings. This workshop will include a tour of our historic Victory Garden. Supplies will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Admission is $75 general; $65 for members; $40 for children ages 3-12.

  • What: LPO: The Lost Bayou Ramblers 
  • Where: The Orpheum Theatre, 129 Roosevelt Way
  • Time: 7:30pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers bring their eclectic mix of modern sounds and rhythms to the Orpheum stage with the LPO. This mix of Cajun music combined with an orchestra will highlight Louisiana like never before.
