Tuesday, March 7th

  • What: EXHIBIT OPENING: This is My New Orleans
  • Where: New Orleans Jazz Museum, 400 Esplanade Ave
  • Time: 5:00-6:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The exhibit shows photographs from the Social and Pleasure Clubs, The Jazz Funerals and the Jazz musicians of our unique city. These photos were taken from 1997 to 2007. The photos in the exhibit were taken and curated by Wiletta Ferdinand.

Wednesday, March 8th

  • What: The NOLA Project Presents White
  • Where: NOMA’s Lapis Center for the Arts, 1 Collins Diboll Cir
  • Time: 7:30pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The NOLA Project presents a contemporary Frankenstein story set in the fiercely competitive art world. White, written by 2022 Pulitzer winner James Ijames and directed by Beau Bratcher, is the company’s first theatrical production in NOMA’s Lapis Center for the Arts.

Friday, March 10th

  • What: Lark in the Park
  • Where: New Orleans Botanical Garden, 1 Victory Ave.
  • Time: 8:00-11:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Lark in the Park presented by Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust is City Park Conservancy’s signature fundraiser, where guests enjoy a glamorous springtime gala experience. Since 1982, Lark has supported Park capital improvements, general maintenance, and beautification within City Park. Park lovers gather for an unforgettable event featuring live music, delectable dishes from the City’s top chefs, specialty cocktails, and springtime glamour under the gorgeous and infamous live oaks of City Park.

  • What: Danny Barker Banjo & Guitar Festival
  • Where: New Orleans Jazz Museum, 400 Esplanade Ave

  • Info/Lagniappe: One of the goals of the Danny Barker Banjo and Guitar Festival is to generate funds to develop and implement sustainable outreach to senior centers in the Greater New Orleans Area to reconnect our seniors to the style of music that many grew up loving.
