Monday, May 9th

  • What: Build Workshop: Serving Tray
  • Where: The Workshop NOLA, 1201 Mazant
  • Time: 6:00 – 9:00pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: $80. In this workshop, participants will learn the safety and use of the miter saw, brad nail guns and drills to make a beautiful and unique serving tray out of wood. Participants will have several options for adding handles to their trays. All materials are included in the cost of the class. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required. Come enjoy our shop and tools, make friends, and learn a new skill.

  • Info/Lagniappe: ART JAM activities will be led by KID smART teaching artists as well as Ochsner,New Orleans Public Library, Electric Girls, New Orleans Museum of Art, Art Camp 504, and more! In addition, musical performances include Preservation Hall & The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a raffle including prizes from local vendors such as YAYA, A Studio in the Woods, and Dancing Grounds.
