  • What: Stormin’ of the Sazerac 
  • Where: The Roosevelt, 130 Roosevelt Way

  • Info/Lagniappe: This one-of-a-kind celebration pays tribute to the empowered group of women who stormed the Sazerac Bar in 1949 demanding equality and a stiff drink. This event made the Sazerac Bar the first bar in New Orleans to allow women on days other than Mardi Gras. “Storming of the Sazerac” encompasses libations, cuisine and entertainment, including: A ladies-only three course luncheon, Complimentary welcome beverage, Cash bar, Live entertainment, Juried best-dressed competition. Following the Blue Room festivities, our Reigning Spirit of the Sazerac will lead attendees in a second line to “storm” the world-renowned Sazerac Bar, where the spirited day continues with Sazerac cocktails in-hand.
