  • Where: Southern Food & Beverage Museum, 1504 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., New Orleans 70113

  • Info/Lagniappe: This is a hands-on cooking class where you will be not only learning about Creole culture but also the cooking techniques to make this cuisine in your daily life. Cost: $100 per person, $85 for Museum members

  • What: YLC’s One Night Only Concert Featuring Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Mia Borders, and Alexis & the Samurai
  • Where: The Civic Theatre, 510 O’Keefe, New Orleans 70113
  • Time: 4 pm – 9 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: YLC is holding a One Night Only benefit concert to help the organization bring YLC Wednesday at the Square back in 2022.

  • What: The Victory Belles Veterans Day Performance
  • Where: BB’s Stage Door Canteen, 945 Magazine, New Orleans 70130
  • Time: 2 pm – 2:30 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: The music of the 1940s brought hope and joy to our GIs and those on the Home Front—and the Victory Belles keep that tradition alive in rich, three-part harmony. Their repertoire includes all the treasured favorites of the WWII era plus patriotic classics including a musical salute to each brand of the US armed forces. Join us for this special 30-minute Veterans Day performance!

  • Info/Lagniappe: Celebrate the holidays in our festive Playhouse by making your own versatile holiday wreath with Amy Graham, Director of Gardens! All supplies are included to make a shiny gold magnolia wreath perfect for Christmas, Saints season, and even Mardi Gras. Ages 12 and up, all seated participants must have a ticket. Light refreshments will be served. $50 for nonmembers/ $40 for members
