  • What: Rex: 150 years of the School of Design
  • Where: The Rink, 2727 Prytania, New Orleans 70130

  • Info/Lagniappe: The Garden District Book Shop and The Rink are pleased to host an evening celebrating the release of Dr. Stephen Hale’s latest title “Rex: 150 Years of the School of Design ” on November 30. Published to celebrate the Rex Organization’s 150th Anniversary, the book provides a decade-by-decade account of a century and a half of colorful Rex history.

Wednesday, December 1st

  • What: JAMNOLA Winter Jam
  • Where: JAMNOLA, 2832 Royal, New Orleans 70117
  • Time: 6 pm – 7 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Visitors will experience over-the-top holiday décor, including “Safe Santa & Friends,” a real-life Santa Claus, holiday elf, photo-ready, inside a life-size snow globe.   • What: Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys Pregame
  • Where: Champions Square
  • Time: 4:20 pm
  • Info/Lagniappe: Champions Square: Prior to each home game, Champions Square becomes the city’s best pregame party, so come show your passion for the Saints and wear your black and gold. The best part: It’s free, open to the public, and you’ll be huddling up with other real fans, and it’s only a touchdown pass from the Saints locker room in the Superdome.   • What: The Amazing Acro-Cats Meowy Catmas Purrformances!

  • Info/Lagniappe: Real rescued house cats perform acrobatics for the Holidays. A very special presentation of The Amazing Acro-cats Featuring Tuna and the Rock Cats.
