365 New Orleans: Curselets

365 New Orleans is focused on local artists and businesses. Every single day, for one year, a new person or place will be highlighted. Follow along on Instagram: @365NewOrleans

Alabama native turned Freret resident, Kacey Edwards has the southern charm with an accent to boot. Curselets started after a rather annoying day at work. A very rude woman told Kacey that a true Southern lady always wears pearls. Well, Kacey showed her by making jewelry with words in Morse code that would make a true Southern lady clutch her pearls.

While most of the sayings on her lady-like jewelry are NSFW, she can create you any saying you’d like.

1. Tell me about Curselets.

Delicate designs with scandalous sayings! They are dainty freshwater pearl, 14k gold and crystal bracelets with not-so-delicate hidden messages.

2. How long have you been in business?

I’m 2 years in now!

3. How do people find you online?

curselets.com, Facebook, & Instagram @curselets

4. What is lesser known about your business that you wish more people knew?

I make custom designs too. I will put any word you want on a bracelet, as long as it fits.  They don’t have to cuss, even though that’s more fun!

5. Lagniappe Info.

We are offering free shipping through the holiday season if you use the code 365NOLA.

I also make these sayings on necklaces and earrings too.
