365 New Orleans: Gator Girl Art

365 New Orleans is focused on local artists and businesses. Every single day, for one year, a new person or place will be highlighted. Follow along on Instagram: @365NewOrleans

Nancy Wolfe Kimberly, aka Gator Girl is a mother, grandmother and lover of all things New Orleans. New Orleans is her muse. Wherever she looks she is struck visually and spiritually by her surroundings. Whether it is a Mardi Gras Indian in his dazzling suit, and alligator sunning herself along the bayou, or a quiet cemetery in the evening, New Orleans speaks to her heart. When she paints, she has two goals, to heal the world and to spread the New Orleans attitude of love. Failing these goals, she hopes to make someone smile.
